The all-female slate of candidates from the Democratic Party dominated the election for the Board of Supervisors in Whitemarsh Township yesterday. Amy Grossman, Melissa Schwartz Sterling and Laura Boyle Nester all received more votes than the three candidates on the Republican side. Three seats on the Board of Supervisors were up for election. The three candidates with the most votes get the seats.
Grossman, Sterling and Nester will join fellow Democrat Bob Hart and Republican James Toten on the Board of Supervisors, maintaining the female majority of the board.
