Conshohocken’s Fireworks Postponed Until July 12th

Tonight the Borough Council of Conshohocken made the decision to postpone its July 4th fireworks (held annually on July 3rd) until July 12th. The decision was based on the weather forecast that calls for heavy showers.  According to what was stated during the meeting, the fireworks company needed to be notified by 8:00 a.m. the day of the show or the Borough would have been charged the fee. Please note that all the food, music and family/kids activities will take place on the new date.

If you are wondering about the Soap Box Derby, the Fire Chief stated during the meeting that the organizers intended to try to hold the event on July 4th, however, will postpone the event to Saturday, July 5th if needed. So as of right now, the derby is a go for the 4th.
