Conshohocken’s Borough Council Moving to Address Nuisance Issues Such as Feral Cats

During last night’s meeting of Conshohocken’s Borough Council, there was a discussion of two nuisance, or quality of life, issues that generate complaints from residents.

The first was feral cats and the second was fruit from trees rotting on sidewalks (which attracts bugs and can make sidewalks slippery).

This led to a more broad discussion and the solicitor suggested all of these type of issues be addressed at the same time through an ordinance(s). The Borough’s staff was asked to go back through complaints submitted to the Borough and create a list of common complaints that need to be addressed.
