Conshohocken Resident Competed on American Ninja Warrior

Conshohocken resident Zamira Doar appeared in a recent episode of American Ninja Warrior on NBC. Doar is a 34 year old UX designer (web designer) who graduated from Tyler School of Art in 2007.

Doar shared with us that she has always been involved in fitness, but got serious about it in 2007. She has competed in body building competitions as a figure competitor and won 1st place at a competition in 2009.

American Ninja Warrior selected her as a competitor from among 40,000 applicants. She started training for the show a year ago.

Her episode featured regional competition in Pittsburgh. She failed on the second obstacle, which was the log drop. Doar had never tried anything like before and explained that being five foot tall didn’t help.

Doar is hoping to compete in season eight of the show.
