Dr. Chris Wickel, a TPI certified medical professional, at Conshohocken Physical Therapy, is helping golfers optimize their body and eliminate pain. While there is no wrong way to swing a golf club, there is one efficient way to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do with his or her own body. To achieve the most efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened.
Dr. Wickel is well educated and trained to examine and evaluate movement patterns. For a more detailed analysis, they use slow motion video to identify how to eliminate pain, get stronger, become more mobile, and to gain better awareness of a player’s own body. The analysis involves an assessment of the swing, movement quality, strength, flexibility, biomechanics and a thorough medical history. The Titleist Performance Institute has the largest collection of golf-specific health and fitness information from the world’s leading experts in the game. They have developed and partnered with many of the world’s top ranked golfers with amazing results.
This program is recommended for golfers of all skill levels to optimize their bodies to be most prepared for the course. Email cwickel@conshypt.com or call 610.828.7595 to learn more about this program.
