Conshohocken Life Magazine Ceases Publication

The Times Herald reported yesterday that Hibu has laid off about 1,000 employees at its King of Prussia office. According to employee that spoke with the Times Herald, Hibu also axed the hyper-local print magazines it was publishing across the country. Conshohocken Life, the free through the mail publication that launched last year, was one of these Hibu publications.

The hyper-local news business in Conshy also lost the Plymouth-Whitemarsh Patch site in late January when its new ownership laid off most of the staff around the country, including in this area.  The Patch sites still exist on the web, but for at least the time being, the content isn’t hyper-local, but more of a mix of state and national news.

Don’t worry, we aren’t going anywhere.
