Conicelli is Collecting Food and Clothing for Homeless Veterans

Each year the Conicelli dealerships in Conshohocken and Springfield focus on a particular charity for the holiday season. This year’s focus is Support Homeless Veterans, and the dealerships will be collecting winter items for the veterans in each of the showrooms.

Support Homeless Veterans is a diverse group of dedicated individuals who share the goal of helping military veterans in any way they can. Their commitment has led to providing housing as well as food and clothing to deserving veterans.

Support Homeless Veterans also helps provide affordable housing for veterans in need. As they say in their mission statement, they were “created in 2011 to combat the growing epidemic of homelessness among American Veterans, and Support Homeless Veterans (SHV) is devoted to bringing quality of life to these forgotten heroes. They are committed to promoting purpose driven lives among our nation’s finest men and women, while increasing the awareness and involvement of our communities.”

There are two sides to this year’s project: winter clothing and food baskets for Thanksgiving, and donations for both can be made to the same donation boxes located in each of the Conicelli showrooms in Conshohocken and Springfield.

Winter clothing: Please donate coats for men and women, gloves, hats, scarves, and socks.

Thanksgiving food baskets: Please donate boxed or canned non-perishable items only.

The collection boxes will be in the showrooms through November 25, 2013. Mention this effort to your friends, neighbors, and co-workers, too! Let’s all do our part to help those who have done theirs.
