Clydesdales in West Conshohocken Tomorrow – See Road Closures, Parking Info, Etc.

The Clydesdales will be in West Conshohocken tomorrow and it has generated a tremendous amount of excitement. It has been covered extensively in the media and West Conshohocken is preparing for a huge crowd. The West Conshohocken Police Department put out an advisory today regarding traffic, parking, etc. See the advisory below:

Who’s pumped for those World Famous Budweiser Clydesdales?! WE ARE!!

Just as a reminder, Front Street (AKA RT. 23) will be closed beginning at 3PM until 8PM between Barr Harbor Drive/Bullock Avenue and Matsonford Road. Barr Harbor Drive will have no driving restrictions.

Ford Street will also be closed at Josephine Avenue. There are no driving restrictions on William Street or Josephine Avenue. Furthermore, there will be no street parking between 12PM and 9PM on 12/10/15 on Ford Street from Josephine Avenue to Front Street.

Attendees driving to the event are asked to use Route 23 and follow the directions toward parking/detour route rather than driving through town. Same would go for cut-through traffic. This will alleviate the abundance of traffic that we are expecting on back roads. Informational signs have been placed throughout the borough and on RT. 23 at RT. 320 in Upper Merion Township.

Parking at the Borough Hall will cease beginning at 12PM on 12/10/15. Any vehicles parked in the Borough Hall Parking Lot after that time will be towed.

There will be Police Officers, Sheriff’s Officer’s and Fire Police Officers at each road closure.
