This week we had the opportunity to meet with Wayne Canfield and Kevin Halliday of British European Soccer Training (BEST), which is now operating Suburban Sports & Training Center on Conshohocken Road.  BEST works with soccer clubs and players around the world, plus is now offering training programs in Conshy.

This past weekend, BEST launched an eight week skill base development program that rapidly improves each individuals technique and skill level. The program has sessions for children ranging in age from six to 14 years of age.  The Skills Factory program is structured on the BEST Training development pyramid that targets individual ball familiarity, 1v1 moves, speed of play, finishing and transitions into small group combination play. This wonderful program offers a combination of Futsal, Coerver and Professional European Academy training.

They are only accepting a maximum of 12 players per session per age, per gender to allow our low coach to player ratio. This allows frequent coach to player interaction, feedback and instruction.  This program offers great flexibility in that if you miss a session you will still receive the full benefits of the program as each session covers all topics in all eight sessions.

The remaining dates for this program are March 16, 23, 30 and April 6, 13, 20, 27. The cost is $185 per child and includes a t-shirt. To register, and to learn about their other upcoming programs, click here.
