Throughout the year, ASTM International supports Riverbend Environmental Education Center and other organizations that provide unique educational experiences for local youth, including those from low-income families.
During May, ASTM sponsored several programs for local elementary school students, including students at Conshohocken Elementary School, organized by Riverbend.
On May 13, ASTM Executive Vice President Kathie Morgan visited Riverbend’s after-school nature club for second graders at Conshohocken Elementary. About 20 students learned about what animals need to survive in their habitats.
