Approval Sought for 500-Car Parking Garage at Spring Mill Corporate Center

The owners of the Spring Mill Corporate Center are seeking zoning variances to construct a 500-car parking garage on the property. We aren’t 100 percent sure, but it sounds like the parking garage would be built in the current surface parking lot that is along North Lane.

While this is on the agenda for the Zoning Hearing Board in Whitemarsh for November 5th, as it states at the bottom of the below notice, it is just to seek a continuance until January 7th.

Below is the official notice:

The Applicants’ property contains 24.62 acres, which they propose to subdivide into two lots. Lot 1 would contain 5.556 acres and will contain parking only, until redeveloped in the future. The Applicants propose to add a 500-car parking garage on the Residual Lot. In order to proceed, the Applicant’s are requesting Variances from Section 116-148.B.(1) for the Residual Lot.
