How did you come to live and/or work in Conshohocken?
I was born in West Germany in 1989 and moved with my mother to Conshohocken in 1992. My first job was as a bus boy at Panera Bread when I was 15 years old. From there, I’ve done everything from sign holding to life guarding.
No, I am not. (notice the coffee mug in his hand in the top photo)
Tell us about your restaurant or bar….
I am a server at the newly born Conshohocken Cafe. It is a nice little nook located at 521 Fayette Street that Michael Oraschewsky and Tim Mulvey opened. Both are awesome guys with unique and great personalities. I consider it a diamond in the rough with an ever expanding fan base.
What is your favorite dish or drink at your work?
My favorite dish to munch on is “The Cubano” or the “Wednesday Burger.” When I am trying to be health conscious, “The Rita” is a fresh treat when it is served in a wheat wrap.
Besides something from your place, what is your favorite dish or drink in Conshohocken?
Tony & Joe’s Taco Pizza was a staple in my diet until the cafe came and stole my stomach’s heart.
What are you involved in outside of work?
Outside of work, I am a member of a band called Adrienne’s Cousin with local legend Ty Smith. I also try to help out my single mother as much a possible around the house. I am also juggling great friends, my girlfriend and school. In July, I am starting classes to obtain my LPN license. So I work just as hard outside of work as I do inside.
Dream locale to open a restaurant/bar?
My dream location would be the Main Line. It is great area financially and I know a lot of fantastic people there. If not there, then Las Vegas….if only for the crazy lifestyle it would bring.
