Montgomery County didn’t have a press conference or issue a press release yesterday, however, its COVID-19 page reports that there were 62 new cases reported on July 2nd, which includes 15 cases from long-term care facilities. The new countywide total of cases since the start of the pandemic is now 8,456.
No new confirmed deaths were reported and the total remains at 800.
No new data on hospitalizations, testing, probable deaths was available.

The two charts above show the number of new positive cases over the past 14 days. The number of cases has declined by 94 in comparison to the previous 14 days. However, the number of cases has increased by 72 in comparison to the previous seven days.
The local data as of today is as follows:
- Conshohocken is at 44 cases and no deaths. This is no change since Wednesday
- West Conshohocken is at eight cases and no deaths. This is no change since Wednesday
- Plymouth Township is at 132 cases, which is five more than Wednesday, and seven deaths, which is no change
- Whitemarsh Township is at 153 cases and 23 deaths, which is no change since Wednesday
